Teaching, review & further learning

Know who is teaching, what has been checked and which sources support your learning. No named Pilates teacher has yet reviewed this collection.

01

Current editorial status

House of Ananda’s Pilates content was prepared with AI assistance for this release. The original exercise descriptions, simplified joint diagrams, spoken scripts and programme arrangements are editorial drafts awaiting a qualified Pilates review.

A reviewer name, qualification, scope and date will appear only after that work actually occurs. The organisations linked below are sources for learning; their inclusion does not imply endorsement.

02

What a recorded review should cover

The intended audience; starting positions and transfers; instruction and breath cues; exercise selection and progression; adaptations and stop guidance; diagrams and complete spoken timing; and consistency between the exercise library and sessions.

The record should identify the teacher, their relevant training and experience, the exact content reviewed and the review date. Apparatus and specialist material need expertise suited to their scope.

03

Find a teacher

The Pilates Foundation provides information about teaching and training. Ask a prospective teacher about matwork or apparatus qualifications, their teaching approach, experience with beginners and how they adapt a session.

The House of Ananda directory also contains teacher and school listings. A listing is not evidence of Pilates qualifications or a review of this section; verify the relevant background directly.

Real demonstrations and additional classes

The NHS beginner Pilates page offers an externally hosted full-session video with its own suitability information. Review that guidance before following it.

Our exercise pages provide original, simplified joint diagrams with setup and movement frames. These are educational schematics, not recorded instructor demonstrations or a precise model of every body.

My Ananda privacy

Reading and practising do not require signing in. Saving Pilates items, recording sessions, programme checkmarks and session notes use your ChatGPT sign-in and are stored by House of Ananda against your site-specific user identity. They are not published in the teacher directory.

The Pilates area of My Ananda lets you view and delete these records. Existing general journal entries and weekly plans continue to use their original browser-local storage. Keep sensitive medical details out of practice notes.

Future workshops, programmes and retreats

The present collection is free to explore. Longer teacher-led programmes and workshops may become part of the existing Founders Circle strategy once the teaching and delivery arrangements are confirmed.

There are no bookable Pilates workshops or retreats in this release. The Retreats room explains the developing wider vision, and the Founders Circle provides the existing interest-registration route.
