CELEBRATION · STILLNESS · CONNECTION

Celebrate together. Return to yourself.

A festival journey with room for both colour and quiet.

Discover a different rhythm in the Himalayan foothills: morning yoga, time by the river, cultural discovery and Holi. These seven intentions shape our proposed Rishikesh retreat; the published departure details and your written offer confirm what is available.

01

Celebration with space to pause

A proposed rhythm of colourful Holi celebrations, unhurried mornings and quieter evenings. Share the joy, then make room to rest.

02

Personal hosting, meaningful connection

Daniel and Shubh AUM are the proposed hosts and yoga teachers. Their complementary backgrounds in travel, hospitality and yoga shape a retreat centred on people and place. Teaching appointments remain subject to confirmation.

03

A quieter riverside setting

Aranyam River Retreat is the proposed base beside the River Hyule, a tributary of the Ganges, outside central Rishikesh. It is not directly on the Ganges; city visits require transport. Final accommodation is confirmed in your written offer.

04

More than a single style of yoga

Explore a proposed programme of movement, meditation, gentle breath awareness, yoga philosophy and Yoga Nidra. Discuss your experience and suitability privately with the team.

05

Permission to choose your pace

Practice sessions and colour celebrations are optional. Take a quieter morning, enjoy time alone or join the group: participation is an invitation, not an obligation.

06

Culture alongside your practice

Proposed experiences include local exploration, Ganga Aarti and a visit to the Beatles Ashram. Access, transport, any tickets and final arrangements will be identified in the confirmed programme.

07

A practice to carry home

The proposed closing sessions include time to reflect and shape a personal home-practice plan: a few realistic ways to make room for movement and stillness after the journey.

Begin with a conversation.

Ask for the brochure, share what you are looking for and explore whether this journey feels right for you.

Request the Rishikesh Holi brochure

An enquiry does not reserve a place. Venue, teaching arrangements, programme, availability and final prices remain subject to written confirmation. No payment is taken by the brochure-request form.

The departure is planned for up to 40 guests. Session groupings, teaching ratios and any smaller practice groups will be explained in the confirmed programme.

Festival arrangements

Festival access and the detailed programme will be confirmed before bookings open.

Festival access and any tickets must be identified in your written offer.

REST & RESTORE

Your retreat accommodation

Aranyam River Retreat is the proposed base beside the River Hyule, a tributary of the Ganges, outside central Rishikesh. Venue contracting, room categories and transport into town remain to be agreed. A shared room does not necessarily mean separate beds; ask for the bed arrangement in your quotation.

Room availability can change. An enquiry does not hold a room or reserve a guest place.

YOUR PRACTICE

The teaching team

Daniel and Shubh AUM are the proposed hosts and yoga teachers. The planned teaching combines movement, meditation and reflection. Their appointments, session responsibilities and any additional Tai Chi instructor will be confirmed in the departure offer.

Optional Tai Chi

An introductory strand can complement yoga and meditation, subject to the confirmed instructor and programme.

Morning Flow

25 minutes · four proposed sessions

Easy preparation, a short teacher-selected sequence and quiet standing or seated reflection.

Foundations

45 minutes · two proposed workshops

Posture, comfortable weight transfer, coordinated arm movement and supported stepping, with time to repeat and build confidence.

Sunset Stillness

20 minutes · one proposed session

A gentle recap and reflection on a quiet evening, away from the busiest festival schedule.

Tell the team about your experience and preferred pace. Optional sessions and additional charges will be identified in the offer.

AROUND THE TABLE

Food, company and time to pause.

The intention is to share local, predominantly vegetarian meals around the practice schedule. The number of meals, drinks, meals during excursions and dietary provision will be specified in your quotation. Please tell the team about dietary requirements before accepting.

CLEAR BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Price, inclusions and terms

Included

Final inclusions are being agreed. Your quotation will specify accommodation, meals, teaching and any activities or transfers included.

Not included

Flights, insurance, entry arrangements and extra nights are not currently offered as included items. Review the final exclusions in your quotation.

Your personal quotation records the exact total, number of guests, room arrangement, deposit and terms. Acceptance alone does not confirm your place; payment and availability must be verified.

Arrival and practical planning

Tell us your intended arrival point and whether you would like help arranging a transfer. The proposed venue is outside central Rishikesh, so city visits need transport. Meeting points, journey times and included transfers will be agreed with the local team. Wait for written departure confirmation before booking separate travel.

Once your quotation is accepted, My retreats lets the booking holder add each guest’s arrival details, request transfer information and work through preparation reminders.
