YOUR RISHIKESH JOURNEY · PLANNING GUIDE
Your first yoga retreat in India
You do not need a perfect practice to start a conversation. Begin with what you would like from your time away: a gentle introduction, a renewed routine, cultural discovery or simply more space to breathe.
Proposed 2027 departure · final dates, hosts, venue and price are confirmed in your written offer.

01 · PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Start with the experience you want
Our proposed ten-day Rishikesh Holi retreat brings yoga, meditation and cultural discovery together. It is a retreat concept, not a teacher-training qualification. Tell the team how often you practise, what you enjoy and which sessions you would prefer to keep gentle.
- Ask how different experience levels will be supported.
- Request the confirmed teaching styles and daily session lengths.
- Discuss any access needs privately before accepting an offer.
02 · PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
A day with room around the practice
The intention is to balance morning practice with meals, free time and selected cultural outings. Festival days will have a different pace. The published itinerary and your written offer will establish actual timings, teaching and inclusions. Optional sessions leave room to rest without feeling that you have fallen behind.
03 · PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Understand the setting
Aranyam River Retreat is the proposed base beside the River Hyule outside central Rishikesh. It offers a different setting from a city-centre stay: visits into Rishikesh need transport. Ask about walking surfaces, room access, travel time and the practice space rather than relying on the atmosphere of the artwork.
04 · PLAN WITH CONFIDENCE
Five details to settle before committing
A useful first conversation makes the practical details as clear as the inspiration.
- The confirmed dates, venue and named teaching team.
- Your exact room and bed arrangement.
- The full price, deposit, balance and cancellation terms.
- Included meals, outings, festival access and transfers.
- What happens if the departure cannot operate as planned.
Your questions, answered
Do I need to be flexible?
Flexibility is not an entry requirement for an enquiry. The teaching team must discuss the planned practice and suitability with you before booking.
Is this teacher training?
No. This proposal is for a hosted retreat, not a yoga teaching qualification.
